YOUR TIME DESERVES RESPECT.

Still hiring?
Check before you apply.

Check the advertised deadline and prepare a quick enquiry. Spend your effort where it counts.

Start with the advert

Paste the text if you have it. Run a live check on a supported recruitment page, or check the deadline manually below. This tool does not access employers’ internal hiring records.

Expanded coverage: Remote Recruitment / Careers Page, PNet, Careers24, CareerJunction, Hire Resolve, Executive Placements, Job Placements, Simplify, Ditto, Placement Partner, Job Mail and SANBI, plus the original platforms. Use an individual advert, not a homepage or search-results page. See coverage and limitations ↓

Prefer the employer’s original advert. A listing alone doesn’t confirm a vacancy is still open.

Advert text stays in this tab. A live check sends the URL to our server to retrieve the public page. No account or CV upload needed.

Get clarity first.

An unexpired deadline is a clue.
An employer’s answer is confirmation.

Which sources can I check?

Enabled means we attempt to read a public advert. It is not a guarantee that every page can be read or that hiring status will be confirmed. Each result explains what was actually found.

South African boards and recruitment platforms

Careers Page (including Remote Recruitment), PNet and its employer portals, Careers24, CareerJunction, Hire Resolve, Executive Placements, Job Placements, Simplify, Ditto, Placement Partner, Job Mail and SANBI.

Other enabled sources

Lever, Greenhouse, SmartRecruiters, Workable, Workday, BambooHR, Airlink, Woolpert, Luxaviation and AECI. Individual LinkedIn and South African Indeed adverts can be attempted, but may require sign-in or block automated reading.

When the source cannot be read

Paste the advert text into this tool to check a stated deadline and prepare a recruiter enquiry. PDF adverts, unsupported domains, sign-in pages and blocked pages are not verified by the live checker. DPSA adverts are often supplied as PDFs: copy the relevant vacancy text instead. We do not bypass site access checks.

An Apply button, a future closing date or a visible advert never proves a role is unfilled. “Unconfirmed” is an honest result when the source gives no clear status.

FOR EMPLOYERS & RECRUITMENT AGENCIES

Existing tools. Clearer information for candidates.

Many recruitment platforms already support closing adverts and managing vacancy statuses. Our suggestion is to make the reason and last-confirmed date clearer to candidates, and keep them consistent wherever the advert appears.

Illustrative demo only. Changing this selection does not update any real vacancy.

Existing examples: LinkedIn, Greenhouse and Workable.

Suggested improvement

Connect the button to your recruitment system. Update it when applications close, hiring pauses or a candidate is appointed. Show the last confirmation date and flag stale information instead of assuming a vacancy is still open.
